What we'll miss in suburbia

People watching! For the last week, we've observed a neighbor diligently power washing his tires and wheels, inside and out, after removing them one at a time from his car. Perhaps this thorough removal of road dirt increases mileage? Unfortunately, we don't have time to try it at this point in our lives. Another neighbor vacuums the shrubbery. And then there's the steady stream of walkers. With its many cul de sacs, this is a great neighborhood for walking. We have people and doggy friends we love to greet. The most adorable are tiny siblings who drive a battery powered John Deere Gator ahead of mom and dad. This is the way our entry used to look before we removed the dwarf Alberta spruce and the Japonicas.
